sores on gums and along gum line

I have a long history of getting multiple canker sores on my lips, inside my cheeks, throat, and under my tongue. However, lately, I’ve been getting the sores on my gums or along the gum line. I’ve been doing some researching and it sounds like I have been experiencing intra oral herpes. I have been under a lot of stress lately so I’m not all that surprised I have the sores. Yet, does anyone else get the sores on the gums like me?
